Setting up and Installing a TikTok Pixel
Before you begin:
- You need a website for your business.
- You must be able to update your website's code.
You can then click here and follow the steps as advised by the TikTok team. Once you're done, you can come and check the second part of this article to test your pixel functionality.
Testing your pixel functionality
Before you start, you'll need to have the Chrome web browser. If you don't have it yet, install the Chrome browser and then follow the steps below.
- Go to the Chrome web store.
- Search for Tiktok Pixel Helper in the search bar.
- Click Add to Chrome.
- Click Add extension in the pop-up.To confirm Pixel Helper installation, click the Pixel Helper icon in the address bar.
- To confirm Pixel Helper installation, click the Pixel Helper icon in the address bar.
- Check the pop-up to see any Tiktok pixels found on that page, and whether they've been set up successfully.
